Vietnam has sufficient evidence to confirm sovereignty on Hoang Sa, Truong Sa
(VOVworld) - Foreign Ministry spokesman Le Hai Binh has responded to reporters' question on Vietnam’s response to the Chinese government’s position paper on arbitration of disputes in the East Sea. He said Vietnam has sufficient historical evidence and legal grounds to confirm its national sovereignty on Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos.

Vietnam persistently rejected China’s demand on Hoang Sa, Truong Sa archipelagos and neighboring waters, as well as China’s historical rights demand for waters, seabed, underground in the seabed unilateral claimed in China’s 9-dotted line.
The spokesman said to protect Vietnam’s legitimate rights and interests which maybe influenced in the East Sea arbitration, Vietnam has expressed its view to the Arbitration Court and called for the court’s attention to those rights and interests.
