Vietnam, Hungary define orientations for future ties
(VOVWORLD) - Hungary wants to foster collaboration with Vietnam in economy, trade, investment, defence, education, training, science, and technology, said Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Monday.

During talks with visting Vietnamese Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong, PM Orban said: “Hungary wants to take advantage of its long-term friendship with Vietnam and contribute to Vietnam’s development through ODA programs. We always encourage Hungarian businesses to invest in Vietnam. We have had successful talks and reached an agreement on economic potentials.”
Party leader Trong said that the two sides have identified major orientations for further development of bilateral ties.
“Vietnam and Hungary have agreed to upgrade bilateral ties to a comprehensive partnership," he said, "The two sides need to revise their policies and improve their investment environments to encourage cooperation between their businesses. We agree that all international disputes should be resolved through dialogue and peaceful methods in compliance with international law and the UN Charter. Vietnam and Hungary pledge to increase consultation on ssues of shared concern and cooperation at multilateral forums.”
