(VOVworld) – Vietnam and India hold much potential for cooperation in the press-publishing-broadcasting sector as India is strong in this field, said visiting Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan at a meeting on Monday with Indian Minister of Information and Broadcasting Venkaiah Naidu.

Minister Tuan proposed several cooperative measures, including the sharing of experience in press, publishing, and broadcasting management, mutual support in information technology application, and the exchange of external information products to strengthen mutual understanding between the two peoples.

Minister Naidu suggested India and Vietnam intensify delegation exchanges, boost collaboration between their press agencies, and encourage film-making in each country.

Minister Tuan visited the Vietnamese Embassy in India, which is hosting a photo exhibition and film screenings to highlight Vietnam’s development, traditional culture, and landscape.
