Vietnam, India promote cooperation in start-ups and innovation
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese Embassy in India in coordination with authorities of Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka state of India, has held a Vietnam-India investment and startup forum themed “Invest Vietnam: High-tech investment and startups.”

At the forum on Wednesday, the speakers of the two sides exchanged and shared information on the situation and development of the startup ecosystem and innovation of each side.
A representative of Karnataka state shared about policies and experiences to promote the development of the state's startup and innovation ecosystem.
The Vietnamese side presented policies, projects and plans to promote the startup and innovation ecosystem of Vietnam in general and Da Nang in particular, as well as proposals on relevant content and direction of cooperation with Karnataka state in entrepreneurship and innovation.
At the forum, the Vietnamese side also said that Vietnam has adopted a project to support the startup and innovation ecosystem until 2025. The project aims to support more than 2,000 startups, of which 600 will be developed into large enterprises, and to turn Vietnam into a startup and innovation hub of Southeast Asia.
