(VOVworld) – Vietnam and Israel should redouble their efforts to boost trade this year to 2 billion USD from 1 billion USD last year, said Vuong Dinh Hue, chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Economic Affairs. At a meeting with Israel’s Finance Minister Arye Deri, Hue affirmed Vietnam’s desire to expand cooperation with Israel, particularly economic cooperation.
Mr. Deri said he believes Hue’s visit will strengthen economic, trade, and investment cooperation, and suggested the two governments create more mechanisms to promote agricultural cooperation, copyright, intellectual property rights, and investment in agriculture.
