Mr. Chinh asked the two countries to strengthen their cooperation in innovation, high-tech, and climate change response, including cooperation in dealing with drought in the central provinces and training of high quality human resources. 

He insisted that Vietnam is ready to serve as a bridge to promote cooperation between Israel and ASEAN.

Minister Nir Barkat, , who is also head of the Israel sub-committee of the Vietnam-Israel Intergovernmental Committee  affirmed that the Israeli Government always regards Vietnam as an important partner in the region and wishes to strengthen cooperation with the country in all fields.

He said as the head of the Israeli Minister of Economy and Industry he will always support and coordinate with ministries and sectors to promote multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Israel, especially in the areas that Prime Minister Chinh has suggested.
