(VOVworld) – A conference of the 6^th Executive Committee of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association opened on Tuesday in Hanoi.

The participants agreed to gear up activities to promote friendship and people-to-people exchanges between Vietnam and Japan. Business clubs will further activities to connect enterprises of the two countries. To Huy Rua, former Head of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission, and Chairman of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group, was elected as Chairman of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association in the 6^th tenure.
