(VOVworld)-The fruitful Vietnam-Japan strategic partnership is growing vigorously in politics, economics and trade, said President Tran Dai Quang at a reception on Monday for Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Kunio Umeda.
President Quang applauded the exchange of high-level visits between the 2 countries, Japan being Vietnam’s leading trade partner, and Japan’s continued ODA to Vietnam.
He stressed that the first upcoming visit to Vietnam ever by Japan’s Emperor and his wife will mark an exceptionally important milestone in bilateral relations.
Ambassador Umeda said that he looks forward to continued assistance and collaboration with Vietnamese agencies to help fulfill his mission as a bridge between Vietnam and Japan
