Receiving the Speaker in Hanoi on Thursday, the first day of the guest’s three-day official visit to Vietnam, Prime Minister Phuc suggested the countries boost high-level legislative exchanges and contacts to share experience. He asked for continuous support from the Japanese parliament in providing ODA for Vietnam’s large-scale infrastructure construction, human resources training, and climate change response. He said he hopes Japan will broaden bilateral cooperation in labor, receive more Vietnamese trainees engaged in agriculture, fisheries, and construction, and give due attention to the Vietnamese community in Japan.
Mr. Tadamori said Japan will always support and continue providing ODA to Vietnam, and will keep on promoting exchanges between the two legislative bodies.
