(VOVworld)- On Saturday, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received Minister of the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam Mr. Nagai Katsuro. In his address, Prime Minister Phuc praised the diplomat’s role in boosting Vietnam-Japan bilateral ties.

Phuc proposed the Japanese Embassy work closely with relevant Vietnamese agencies to thoroughly prepare for the Japanese Emperor and Empress’s upcoming visit to Vietnam which is aimed at strengthening bilateral relationship. Phuc asked Japan to encourage Japanese enterprises to invest in Vietnam to make Japan a top investor in the country. The Vietnamese Prime Minister urged both sides to facilitate the operation of the Vietnam-Japan University. Mr. Nagai Katsuro promised to do his utmost to boost bilateral cooperation, especially in economics. He emphasized the significance of the Vietnam visit of the Japanese Emperor and Empress saying it will create a milestone in bilateral ties.
