Minister Lich welcomed the Vietnam visit by the defense ministry delegation of Kazakhstan, saying that it contributes to strengthening understanding between the armies and peoples of the two countries. Deputy Minister Mukhtarov briefed the host on the outcomes of talks between his delegation and their Vietnamese counterparts led by Deputy Defense Minister Nguyen Chi Vinh. He expressed his hope that in the coming months, the two defense ministries will conduct more practical cooperation activities, especially in the fields of training, defense industry, and United Nations peacekeeping.
