Vietnam, Kazakhstan further bilateral ties
(VOVWORLD) - President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Thursday urged Vietnam and Kazakhstan to take advantage of the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and Eurasian Economic Union and further cooperation in agriculture, tourism, and transportation.

At a meeting with Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tileuberdi who is on an official visit to Vietnam, President Phuc expressed his belief that the visit will contribute to bolstering bilateral friendship and cooperation. He spoke highly of the plan to open a direct air route between the two countries.

The Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister said Vietnam is an important partner of Kazakhstan in the Asia Pacific region adding that Kazakhstan wants to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam in economics, trade, investment, finance, education, culture, tourism, transport, clean energy, and high tech.
