President Tran Dai Quang receives  Chief Judge of the Lao Supreme People’s Court Khamphanh Sit Thi Dampha

At a meeting with the Chief Judge of the Lao Supreme People’s Court Khamphanh Sit Thi Dampha in Hanoi on Thursday, the President highlighted the court sector’s important role in building a law-governed state, protecting justice and human rights. He voiced his support for further cooperation between the two countries’ Supreme People’s Courts asking them to strengthen judicial reform and share experience.

At a meeting with the Lao Chief Judge the same day, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan urged the two courts to strengthen cooperation in order to contribute to the development of their respective countries and the boosting of bilateral ties.
