(VOVworld) ­­– The 10^th Meeting of the Joint Coordination Committee on Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam (CLV) Development Triangle Area started in the Lao province of Champasak on Friday. Ministers hailed the success of the Senior Officials Meeting (SOM) on Thursday in preparation for the 10^th CLV Meeting. They approved recommendations made at the senior officials meeting and reviewed the implementation of the joint statement made at the eighth CLV Summit last November in Vientiane, Laos, particularly the implementation of a socio-economic plan for the development triangle area during the 2010-2020 period. They also discussed the implementation of the area’s Memorandum of Understanding on investment attraction policies, and future collaboration, as well as measures to mobilize capital from development partners, financial organizations, and the private sector.
