Vietnam, Laos foster time-honored friendship and solidarity
(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary and President of Laos Bounnhang Volachith has applauded the effective cooperation between the front organizations of Vietnam and Laos, which he said contributes to enhancing the two countries’ traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation.

He made the remarks at a reception for President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Tran Thanh Man in Vientiane on Thursday.
Mr. Man reviewed the outcomes of his working session with Chairman of the Lao Front for National Construction Saysomphone Phomvihane. Mr. Mansaid the two sides have agreed to increase coordination to implement their joint plans in 2017-2020 and proposed that the Lao Party chief and President create the best possible conditions for the two fronts to cooperate. The VFF President called on the two countries to speed up transport connectivity and increase investment in infrastructure at their border gates.
