(VOVworld) - Vietnam will closely cooperate with Laos in organizing the Asia – Europe People’s Forum and other forums in anticipation of the Vietnam – Laos Friendship Year.
Vu Xuan Hong, President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, met with Phankham Viphavan, Laos Minister of Education and Sports, and President of the Lao – Vietnam Friendship Organizations yesterday. During a two-day visit to Laos, Hong worked with Lao agencies to prepare for the 9th Asia – Europe People’s Forum to be held in Lao later this year. Viphavan expressed his hope that Vietnam will continue to help Laos organize the Forum.
