Vietnam logs 774 COVID infections, no deaths on Thursday
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam recorded 774 new COVID-19 infections in 44 out of 63 localities in the past 24 hours, bringing the total caseload to more than 10.7 million.
Hanoi continues to lead and is the only locality with over 100 new cases (145).
The seven-day rolling average of new daily infections in Vietnam is at 764, down from 868 a week ago.
Thursday saw the recovery of 8,835 COVID-19 patients, bringing the total number of recoveries to 9,583,105 so far.
With no deaths from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, Vietnam's number of fatalities stands at 43,083, about 0.4 per cent of total infections.
