Minister of Public Security To Lam

The Malaysia King, Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, expected more bilateral cooperation in trans-border crime prevention. Minister To Lam told the King that during earlier talks between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and the Malaysian Ministry of Home Affairs, both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in crime prevention as Vietnam serves the 2020 ASEAN Chairmanship and Malaysia is the host country of the APEC. Minister Lam expected more exchanges of visits to boost political trust as well as citizen protection and crime prevention. Minister Lam’s visit to Malaysia on Wednesday and Thursday was made at the invitation of Malaysian Home Affairs Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.
