(VOVWORLD) - Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob will pay an official visit to Vietnam from March 20-21 at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

It will be his first visit to Vietnam as the Prime Minister of Singapore since he took office in August, 2021.
The visit takes place amid the rapid development of the Vietnam-Singapore strategic partnership and the celebration of the 50th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties in 2023.
The visit is expected to open up opportunities for both countries to elevate the bilateral strategic partnership to a new height, discuss regional and global issues, and promote trade and investment.
