Vietnam marks Family Day with scores of activities
(VOVWORLD) - Localities nationwide have organized numerous activities to celebrate Vietnam’s “Family Day” on June 28, including ceremonies to honor exemplary families and competitions on knowledge, behavior, culture, and gender equality in the family.

On Friday Hanoi introduced the “Happy Young Families Program” and the “Happy Young Families Festival 2024”, which aim to spread the values of love, marriage, and family. These events featured communication activities on social media, and talk shows on family happiness, preparations for marriage, and the values of modern families.
Bac Kan Province organized the “Vietnam Family Day Festival” on Thursday and Friday to encourage people to build happy families, honor cultural traditions and good behavior, and promote gender equality.
Dong Thap Province on Friday honored 150 families who are community role models in economics, education, culture, lifestyle, and social welfare.
