Vietnam mission to UN celebrates Vietnam’s National Day

Ambassador Dang Dinh Quy, Head of the Vietnamese mission to the UN highlighted Vietnam’s major achievements over the past 75 years, its international integration, and efforts to become an independent country with dynamic economic growth and a responsible member of the international community. Quy said the Vietnam-UN relations have developed rapidly citing Vietnam's efforts to fulfill the Millennium Development Goals and Sustainable Development Goals and Vietnam’s participation in the UN’s peacekeeping mission. He thanked the UN and international friends for their support for Vietnam’s post-war reconstruction process, poverty reduction, and socio-economic development.
