(VOVworld) – An interdisciplinary team from Vietnam toured Norway from June 21-29 to study Norwegian success in reducing domestic violence and increasing the involvement of churches in community development.

The team focused on the coordination between religious organizations and the government in health care, education, and social work. Vietnam and Norway are determined to reduce gender inequality and domestic violence by creating policies and laws to ensure human rights.
