(VOVworld) – Vietnam is ready to join search-and-rescue operations for AirAsia’s missing plane, said Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh during a Sunday telephone call with Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi. He said the Vietnamese government and people share the feelings of the passengers’ families.
Mr Marsudi thanked Mr Minh for the offer of assistance and briefed him on the latest developments.
Search operations for the missing plane resumed Monday after being suspended Sunday night, due to bad weather.
