The event was held by the collaboration between the VCCI and the Peruvian Embassy in Hanoi to introduce Peru's market to Vietnam's enterprises.

Bi-lateral trade revenue reached over 100 million USD per year but the two countries have not realised their full potential and expectation. The two countries will improve business co-operation in agriculture, aquaculture, science, and technology.
Nguyen The Hung, the Deputy Director of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s branch in Ho Chi Minh City said: “Vietnam’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry have signed several co-operation agreements with our Peruvian counterpart. These and other ministerial co-operative agreements in economy, trade, agriculture, aquaculture, science, and technology will help establish a supportive network for Peruvian enterprises entering markets in Vietnam and ASEAN and vice versa.”
