Deputy PM Dam recognised the VMA’s strong coordination with the health ministry in public health care, policy making, and international cooperation. He asked the VMA to improve its role in assessing hospital quality, ensuring manpower for the medical sector, and cooperating with the Government to strongly reform hospital management mechanisms.
Meeting with representatives of the Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRC) Central Committee, Dam highly valued the VRC’s accomplishments, especially in working with the health ministry in public health care and providing aid for disadvantaged people.
The Deputy PM told the VRC Central Committee to continue recent practical activities, in particular the voluntary blood donation movement.
