Vietnam, Poland boost trade, investment cooperation
(VOVworld) - Poland hopes to boost cooperation with Vietnam in advantageous fields including mining, food, green technology, hi-tech and chemicals, said the Polish Economic Minister, Grazyna Henclewska, during her on-going visit to Vietnam. She added that Vietnam is one of the most potential investment markets in Southeast Asia. To mark the occasion, Poland’s Ministry of Economy and the Polish Embassy in Vietnam co-organized on Tuesday a workshop in Hanoi to discuss investment opportunities for businesses in both nations. Ambassador Barbara Szymanowska hoped that the event will add fresh impetus to long-term cooperation between the two nations. Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s European Market Department, Duong Hoang Minh, emphasized that the EU- Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), will open- up favorable prospective opportunities for the businesses of both nations. Minh said the two governments will set up an inter-governmental committee to strengthen cooperation in potential fields and accelerate economic and trade cooperation.
