Vietnam, Poland foster economic and trade ties

(VOVworld) – The Polish Embassy in Hanoi collaborated with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to hold a “Vietnam – Poland business forum” on Wednesday in Hanoi.

The forum was expected to strengthen bilateral economic and trade ties in line with the current development of Vietnam-Poland relations.

The forum, following a visit to Vietnam by Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Katarzyna Kacperczyk and 50 Polish enterprises, was expected to strengthen bilateral economic and trade ties in line with the current development of Vietnam-Poland relations.
Addressing the event, Kacperczyk said that the visiting Polish enterprises wanted to develop trade ties with Vietnamese counterparts and seek investment opportunities in the local market. She also said that the strongest Polish enterprises were agriculture and food processing, mining, infrastructure development, transport facilities, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. She said Polish companies also had advantages in modern technology, product quality, and competitive prices, and that Vietnam was an attractive destination for Polish businesses.
