Vietnamese Minister of Public Security To Lam

Minister of Public Security To Lam  told the seventh ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Drug Matters held virtually on Thursday that Vietnam has been actively implementing the National Drug Prevention and Control Programme and is amending and supplementing the Law on Drug Prevention and Control in order to effectively respond to the changing environment related to drug-related crime. He said Vietnam prioritizes the prevention of trans-national illicit drug trafficking and communication campaigns to diversify treatment models while strictly controlling illegal activities related to drugs.
