Vietnam ready for World Cup qualifier against Indonesia
(VOVWORLD) - Coach Philippe Troussier believes that Vietnamese players have what it takes to overcome all obstacles and gain a favorable result against Indonesia in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Vietnam will play Indonesia away on Thursday night and at home on March 26 for the second qualification round.
The Indonesia clash is important, and is one of the matches that affects Vietnam’s chance of progressing, Troussier said at a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Midfielder Nguyen Hoang Duc, winner of Vietnam’s Golden Ball 2023 said, the match is capturing a particular public interest and “the entire team is ready and will do our best to win.”
