At the Prime Minister’s requests, Ministries and sectors need to work out their own climate change response plans which should focus on transforming to green energy and clean energy, reducing greenhouse gas emission and methane gas emission, promoting electric cars, planting trees to absorb CO2, developing construction materials and urban areas toward green, sustainable growth, and strengthening communications to engage the public and businesses in this effort.
Professor Doctor Tran Thuc, Deputy Chairman of the Advisory Council of the National Committee for Climate Change said: "Vietnam pledged net zero emission by 2050 which means energy transformation will be carried out drastically as soon as this year. To realize this goal, we need to strengthen communications to gain consensus among the public and local administrations."
