(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has been nominated for a total of 11 prestigious prizes at the upcoming 2020 World Travel Awards (WTA).

The country as a whole is nominated for Asia’s Leading Cultural Destination, Asia’s Leading Destination, Asia’s Leading Heritage Destination, Asia’s Leading Nature Destination, Asia’s Leading River Cruise Destination, Asia’s Leading Sustainable Tourism Destination, Asia’s Leading Youth Travel Destination, and Asia’s Leading Culinary Destination.
Hanoi is up for Asia’s Leading City Break Destination while Hoi An is up for Asia’s Leading Cultural City Destination.
Meanwhile, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) lands on the nomination list for the Asia’s Leading Tourist Board award.
Da Nang city is nominated for Asia's Leading Festival & Event Destination and Cuc Phuong National Park in Ninh Binh province races for Asia’s Leading National Park.
Voting at www.worldtravelawards.com will close on September 24.
