Vietnam records 15,500 cases of COVID-19
(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Health said that from 4:00 pm on Tuesday to 4:00 pm on Wednesday, 15,527 cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Vietnam. They included 5 imported cases and 15,522 domestic cases. In the past 24 hours, 2,992 patients recovered but 283 others died.

Vietnam has to date recorded 1,459,175 COVID-19 cases, ranking 32 out of 223 countries and territories, while with the ratio of infections per 1 million people, Vietnam ranks 148 out of 223 countries and territories.
The number of patients who have been cured of the disease is 1,063,428. The death toll from COVID-19 so far is 28,616.
By Wednesday noon, Vietnam administered more than 135.2 million doses of vaccine against COVID-19. Nearly 80% of the adult population got 2 doses of vaccine.
