Vietnam records 16 new COVID-19 cases on Friday morning

(VOVWORLD) - From 6 am to 12 noon on Friday, Vietnam recorded 16 new cases, according to the Ministry of Health. 

The new cases were detected in Bac Ninh (7), Tan Trieu Cancer Hospital (3), Lang Son (2), Nam Dinh (2), Thai Binh (1), and Hung Yen (1).

13 cases are in quarantine facilities and 3 cases in the ring-fenced hospital.

By 12 noon on Friday, Vietnam recorded a total of 2,298 domestic cases and 1,458 imported cases. The number of new cases from April 27 to now is 728.

A report by the Medical Examination and Treatment Management Department said a total of 2,657 people have recovered.
