Vietnam records 42,000 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours
(VOVWORLD) - From 4 p.m. on Friday to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Vietnam recorded 41,980 new COVID-19 infections in 61 out of 63 provinces and cities. 6,840 recoveries were announced during the day; 65 patients died.
As of Saturday, Vietnam administered nearly 191 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine. 59 out of 63 provinces and cities had the two-dose vaccination rate of over 90%; only 4 provinces and cities had the two-dose vaccination rate below 90%.
