(VOVWORLD) -From 4pm on Thursday to 4pm on Friday, Vietnam recorded 1,039 new cases of COVID-19 in 46 provinces and cities, down 49 cases compared with the previous day.
Since the onset of the pandemic, Vietnam’s caseload has reached 10,723,673.
On Friday, an additional 9,146 recoveries were announced, bringing the total number of recoveries so far to 9,486,806.
In the past 24 hours, Vietnam reported no deaths from COVID-19.
As of Friday, 221,658,034 doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered across the country.
