Vietnam records a two-month low of daily COVID-19 infections
(VOVWORLD) -From 4 p.m. on Tuesday to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Vietnam recorded 8,744 new COVID-19 infections in 59 out of 63 provinces, the lowest number of new cases in the past two months. 22 were imported cases and 8,722 were domestic cases.
The localities with biggest decrease of daily cases were Quang Nam, Binh Dinh, and Hai Phong.
Vietnam has so far recorded 186 cases of Omicron variant.
In the past 24 hours, the country recorded 6,795 recoveries from COVID-19.
