(VOVWORLD) - A rehearsal of the opening ceremony for the 2021 Army Games in Vietnam was held Friday at the National Military Training Center No.4 on the outskirts of Hanoi.

Of the 34 competitions scheduled for the Games, Vietnam will host the rescue and sniper events. In addition to ensuring COVID-19 preventive measures, a system of competing fields of international standards has been completed. Accommodation for guest teams have also been ready.
The Army Games is an annual event initiated by Russia. This year’s Army Games will be held from August 22 to September 4 with 12 host nations, including Russia, Armenia, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, Qatar, China, Mongolia, Serbia, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
