(VOVWORLD) - From 4pm on Tuesday to 4pm on Wednesday, Vietnam had an additional 1,254 patients announced to be cured, raising the total number of cured cases to 844,054.
In the past 24 hours, Vietnam recorded 7,930 new COVID-19 cases, of which 12 were imported and 7,918 were recorded in 59 provinces and cities.
Ho Chi Minh City reported the highest number of cases with 1,414, followed by Dong Nai province with 848, and Binh Duong province with 627.
79 patients died from the disease on Wednesday.
More than 93.96 million vaccine doses have been administered to date, with over 31.15 million people having received two doses.
