Both patients are Vietnamese citizens who landed at Da Nang International Airport from Japan on Nov.28 and the Republic of Korea on Dec. 1. They were quarantined as soon as they landed at the airport.
In another development, Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Health has required regular screening and testing of COVID-19 for medical staff in hospitals. Earlier, the Department asked hospitals to strengthen preventive measures by screening patients and their relatives and restricting visits to avoid crowd gathering in hospitals.
