On Wednesday, health officials declared six more patients free of coronavirus. They include patient 19, who just weeks ago was in critical condition and suffered three cardiac arrests. After 81 days of treatment, she has tested negative for the virus seven times and is now in stable health.
Of Vietnam’s 327 cases, 187 were infected elsewhere and were quarantined upon their arrival in Vietnam to eliminate any risk of community transmission.
