This will be the first visit to the RoK by a Vietnamese Foreign Minister over the past 5 years.
Minister Son will discuss orientations for bilateral relations and the celebration of 30 years of diplomatic ties this year.
Priority will be given to cooperation in politics-diplomacy, national defence-security, economics and social affairs.
The RoK was Vietnam’s second largest investor last year. The two countries aim to raise bilateral trade to 100 billion USD by 2023 and 150 billion USD by 2030.
