Vietnam, Russia deepen education cooperation
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam and Russia should diversify education cooperation programs for better and more practical results, said Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha during a working session in Moscow on Wednesday with Russian Minister of Education and Science Olga Yurevna Vasylieva.

The meeting was held during President Tran Dai Quang’s official visit to Russia.
Minister Nha urged Russia to create more favourable conditions for Vietnamese students there.
Ms. Vasylieva acknowledged Mr. Nha’s proposals for cooperation programs between the two ministries, adding that her ministry will promote coordination with Vietnam to enhance training quality.
She promised that Russia will increase scholarships for Vietnamese students from 860 to 953 next year.
