(VOVworld)- The spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zarakharova told the Ria Novosti news agency on Friday that “many years of cooperation and a high level of mutual trust help Russian and Vietnamese oilmen, despite the unfavorable situation in world markets, to boost cooperation in a wide range of areas, to compete successfully with leading corporations operating in the oil and gas industry”. She said the issues of deepening cooperation in the core business is constantly monitored by the governments of the two countries and are regularly discussed at the meetings of the intergovernmental Russian-Vietnamese Commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation. The statement was made after a subsidiary of Rosneft – Rosneft Vietnam started exploration drilling offshore Vietnam.
