(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang on Monday received visiting Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs Teo Chee Hean in Hanoi. President Sang spoke highly of Singapore’s role in ASEAN and its unswerving policies in regional and international issues. During the visit, both countries will sign an agreement on trans-national crime prevention and combat. President Sang said amidst complicated developments of region and the world, crime prevention, judicial assistance and training of law enforcement officers are of great significance. He expressed his hope that Singapore will continue to expand cooperation with Vietnam in other areas.
