​Vietnam strengthens citizen protection in hot spots

(VOVWORLD) - Ensuring the safety of Vietnamese citizens amidst increasingly complicated conflicts in the Middle East, Bangladesh, and Myanmar is a top priority, said deputy spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Doan Khac Viet at a regular press conference on Thursday.

Viet affirmed that the situation for Vietnamese citizens in the Middle East, especially Israel, Iran, and Lebanon, remains safe and stable. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised citizens to take caution when travelling to these dangerous conflict areas.

The Vietnamese Embassies in the Middle East, Bangladesh, and Myanmar have asked local authorities to ensure maximum safety for Vietnamese citizens.

Vietnam’s overseas representative agencies have proactively prepared and implemented citizen protection plans.
