Processing cashew nuts for export (Source: VNA)

Chairman of the Vietnam Cashew Association (Vinacas) Pham Van Cong said in 2019  the sector ranks 1^st worldwide in exporting cashew nuts and marked a new record of importing over 1.5 million tonnes of raw materials, worth 3.6 billion USD. Vincacas recommends businesses to focus on deep processing, improving quality and diversifying products towards realizing the goal of earning 4 billion USD in 2020. The association also pledged to closely follow market developments worldwide to timely inform domestic businesses of any changes that could affect their businesses.
