It said foreign arrivals are required to present a valid visa, a certificate attesting that they have tested negative for COVID-19, and confirmation from the hotel in Vietnam where they will spend their quarantine. There are some problems in the management of Vietnamese citizens arriving on international flights, however, so the Ministry of Health is discussing how to best implement standardized procedures across the country.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Transport is consulting with authorities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City before issuing licenses for airlines to operate regular international commercial flights.
