(VOVworld) - A Thai traditional puppet show was jointly performed by Thai and Vietnamese puppeteers at the Hanoi Opera House yesterday/ on Saturday to celebrate 45 years of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Thailand.

Attending the performance were Thai Deputy Prime Minister Thanasak Patimprakorn and Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam.

Thai Ambassador to Vietnam Manopchai Vongphakdi said the performance of Thai and Vietnamese traditional puppetry illustrated the importance of culture and art cooperation in bilateral ties. The show has also preserved and promoted the unique arts of each country.
