(VOVworld) – On August 6, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has sent a congratulatory message to Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha, marking the 40^th anniversary of diplomatic ties. The same day, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh sent his congratulation to his Thai counterpart Don Pramudwinai.

Head of the Thai King’s Privy Council, and senior officials and representatives of several Thai companies visited the Vietnamese Embassy in Bangkok on this occasion. They expressed their congratulation to Vietnam and Thailand relations which are strongly developed. They said that both sides need to press on with all-round relations, from politics, defense, economics to people-to-people exchange. 
Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Tat Thanh thanked his guests, including Deputy Foreign Minister Virasakdi Futrakul, for helping the countries’ partnership.
