Vietnam to boost cooperation with Norwegian localities

(VOVworld) - Vietnamese Ambassador to Norway Le Thi Tuyet Mai made a recent working visit to the cities of Stavanger and Time to seek cooperation opportunities between Vietnamese localities and the two Norwegian cities. With Stavanger’s Mayor Christine Sagen Helgo, Mai discussed areas where Vietnam and Stavanger can expand collaboration. Mai briefed the host on her embassy’s efforts to promote the image of Vietnam in Norway and boost ties with enterprises in Stavanger – Norway’s third largest city.
With Time’s Mayor Reinert Kverneland, Mai discussed opportunities for cooperation in economics, culture, tourism, and a student exchange between Vietnam and Time.
The Vietnamese diplomat also met representatives of the Vietnamese community in Stavanger and its surrounding areas, and visited several companies and universities in the two cities.
